The original research article entitled "Metformin-loaded Polymer-Based Microbubbles/Nanoparticles Generated for the Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus" has been published in ACS Langmuir (Q1, IF: 3.56). In this study, metformin, which is the first choice in monotherapy for Type 2 diabetes, into microbubbles using a T-junction microfluidic device. Later on, nanoparticles were obtained by bursting these microbubbles. We congratulate our faculty member and other co-authors who present a new approach to the treatment of Type 2 diabetes.
