The project titled " Production of Nanofiber Wound Dressing Containing Natural Polymer and plant origin's Active Substance with Anti-bacterial and Anti-Biofilm Properties for the Treatment of Chronic Wounds " was found to the worthy of support by TÜSEB.

The aim of this project is to produce a novel wound dressing containing effective, non-toxic and natural molecules to be used in the treatment of diabetic foot wounds and other chronic wounds, which cause very high costs to both patients and health systems. Since there is no commercial nanofiber product with these features in the wound dressing market, this product will reduce the foreign dependency of our country and therefore to contribute to our national economy.
